Terms of Use

Last updated: October 8, 2026. These Terms of Use apply to all access to the Articast service, published by Inellis.

This English version is a translation provided for convenience. If it differs from the French version, the French version prevails.

1. About the service

Articast is a service that uses artificial intelligence to turn articles into audio content (podcasts). It is published by Inellis, an SAS with share capital of 1,000 euros, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under SIREN number 942 042 870, with its registered office at 40 Rue des Blancs-Manteaux, 75004 Paris (hereinafter “Inellis” or “the publisher”). Contact: contact@inellis.com.

The service's website is available at articast.pro; the production tool is available at podcast.inellis.com (or at any other address designated by the publisher). Access is limited to individuals of legal age and to legal entities represented by a duly authorized representative.

2. Acceptance of the terms

Creating an account constitutes full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms of Use and of the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the service.

The publisher reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use at any time. Users are notified by email at least 15 days before any substantial change. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended version.

3. User account

Each user creates an account with an email address and a password. Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and for all activity carried out through their account.

The publisher may suspend or delete an account in the event of a breach of these Terms of Use, fraudulent or abusive use of the service, or at the user's request.

4. Credits and financial terms

Articast runs on a credit system. Each new account can produce its first podcast free of charge, once for the lifetime of the account, of any length and with no credit card required. Beyond this free podcast, production continues with credits.

Articast does not currently offer subscriptions or online payment. Credits are topped up manually on request, by writing to us through the contact page. We then agree together on a volume suited to your usage.

Credits are deducted after each podcast is produced, in proportion to the length of the audio produced. Credits have no monetary value, do not expire as long as the account remains active, and are neither refundable nor transferable, except where otherwise required by law.

The publisher reserves the right to change this credit system and to introduce paid plans in the future, with prior notice to users.

5. Acceptable use

Users agree not to use the service to:

  • process content that infringes the rights of third parties (copyright, intellectual property);
  • generate unlawful, defamatory, racist, violent, or pornographic content;
  • extract data in bulk by unauthorized automated means;
  • circumvent the service's limitation mechanisms (quotas, credits);
  • impersonate a third party.

Users remain solely responsible for the content they submit to the service and for the podcasts they produce and distribute.

6. Intellectual property

Users retain ownership of the content they submit. They grant the publisher a limited, non-exclusive license to process this content for the sole purpose of providing the service (generating the script and the audio).

The audio podcasts produced are made available to the user for personal or professional use. The publisher claims no ownership rights over the audio files produced from the user's content.

The Articast brand and the service's source code, interfaces, and infrastructure remain the exclusive property of Inellis.

7. Availability and warranties

The service is provided “as is.” The publisher strives to maintain high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Interruptions for maintenance or due to incidents may occur.

The quality of content produced by artificial intelligence depends on the quality of the articles submitted and of the third-party models used. The publisher does not guarantee the factual accuracy of the scripts produced. It is the user's responsibility to check content before any public distribution.

8. Liability

The publisher shall not be liable for any indirect damage, operating loss, loss of data, or loss of profit resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the service, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

In the event of direct damage attributable to the publisher, the publisher's liability is limited to the amount invoiced to the user over the previous 12 months.

9. Termination

Users may delete their account at any time from the settings page or by contacting the publisher by email. Deletion results in the erasure of personal data under the conditions set out in the Privacy Policy.

Any remaining credits are forfeited when the account is deleted and are not refunded, except if the publisher shuts down the service (see Section 10).

10. Service shutdown

If the service is permanently shut down, the publisher undertakes to notify users with a positive credit balance at least 60 days in advance and to offer a pro rata refund of unused credits.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms of Use are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Failing that, the competent courts are those with jurisdiction over the publisher's registered office.

Consumers have the right to use a consumer mediator in accordance with Articles L.616-1 and R.616-1 of the French Consumer Code.

12. Contact
